Parenting Workshop

Parenting is one of the hardest puzzles to solve. This workshop is for parents of children struggling with anxiety or panic attacks. As parents you cannot be expected to understand all the components of your children’s mental health. We understand how scary it can feel when you child begins to panic and you have no clue how to help them. In this class we will teach different tips So that parents can help their kids and teens regulate in these stressful situations. Anxiety and panic is not only uncomfortable for the child, but also for the parents. We want to make sure that you have tools to help you kids feel safe and in control. Communicating your Needs

Communication is an art form that we haven’t all mastered. At times saying what we feel, think or believe can be seen as confrontation. Too often people choose to stay quiet because they think confrontation is a bad thing. However, confrontation is the key to resolution in this workshop we will teach the main components of communication. This workshop is meant for those who struggle to get their point across or who feel that they are often seen as negative or aggressive. We will be providing the tools necessary to confront others with a resolution in the end. Looking at the Person in the Mirror

The first step to taking control is awareness. Awareness can only be gained by taking a close look in the mirror. There are multiple stages in our lives where we feel as if we no longer know who we are. This group is intended to help those who are working on finding their authentic self. When analytes become unmanageable it's time to explore and to take ownership of who we truly are. Through this group you will find your strengths, areas of growth and strategies to take control of our trippers and negative thoughts. After this class clients report having a better understanding of who they are and a decrease in the worry about what others think of them. This is a great class for people who are either new to therapy or are looking to grow and evolve with others in similar situations. SCI Group by Triumph

Life after a spinal cord injury can feel very lonely and definitely confusing. Although, the people around us want to help and really want to understand the just don’t. Life after an injury doesn’t have to be so confusing. This life series through Triumph foundation offers a space for those with a spinal cord injury or similar disabilities to come together and continue growing after such a catastrophic shift in life. All adults living with a disability or spinal cord injury are welcome as well as family members who were trying to learn and cope. To join you can give us a call or register with Triumph to learn more about this and other groups they provide.
